Mountain Creek in Vernon is the closest outdoor race venue to New York City on our schedule — well under two hours from Manhattan and a straightforward drive from most of northern New Jersey. That makes it the easiest race on our calendar to do as a day trip, with no lodging, no early alarm and no weekend commitment.
