There are a variety of mid-week training and night race opportunities in the region. Additionally there are week long camps and some pre-race training, you can take advantage of to keep your skills honed. Mid-Week Training & Racing Opportunities
- Hunter Mt, NY - Hunter Mountain offers mid-week Masters training from December - March. The first session for this season is December 23, 2025. Training runs from 10am-12:30pm (typically on Mondays) and includes coaching. Sessions alternate between GS and SL. Contact Jim Tomassetti if you are interested or want more details. - Bear Creek, PA - Bear Creek will be running Nastar GS on Tuesdays and Nastar SL on Wednesdays. Wednesday SL has 2 courses. One of the courses will have combinations. Starts Jan 7th, 2025. https://www.bcmountainresort.com/play/events/?v=list&c=1&p=1&m=20220101
- Willard, NY - A great hill with a homey family vibe that produces great racers. Training is on Thursdays from 11am-3pm, or however long you can last. The cost is $65 (ticket and training). Just go to the ticket window/desk to pay and tell them that you are there for masters training. Contact [email protected] with questions or for more info.
Other spot opportunities
- Blue Mt, PA - Slalom For Dummies 2.0. This is designed for those that might not be super experienced with slalom but want to build their skills. It's a great price and great opportunity. Lift tickets not included, 10-12am training. Stubbies and some gates, probably held on the lower part of razors. Ikon pass accepted. For those without a pass, buying your pass well in advance provides significant discounts. Maximum 20 participants.

Week Long Camps
- Killington Adult & Masters Race Camp - Killington, VT. There is a four day GS camp, followed by a two day SL camp. 5-day Race Camp: 12/9/24 to 12/13/24, 2-day Slalom camp: 12/14 & 12/15. - Lisa Ballard Masters Camp - Hunter Mt, NY January 6-9, 2025. Four days of training (2 SL and 2 GS). This training leads up to the Friday and Saturday Mid-Atlantic Masters Season Opener races at Hunter on January 10 (GS on Eisenhower) and 11th (SL). Signup on masters.adminskiracing.com
- Lisa Ballard Masters Camp - Mt Snow, VT January 13-16, 2025 Four days of training with coaches (2 SL and 2 GS). This training leads up to a New England Masters GS race that will be held the Friday immediately following the camp at Mt Snow. You can head from the Mt Snow races to Willard Mt (very close) for our races there that are sure to be a blast. Signup on masters.adminskiracing
