Super-G @ West Mountain (NSS)

Join us for a Super-G race on West Mountain's famous hill, The Cure. This race counts as a stop on the USSS National Speed Series.

Race Fees and Lift Tickets

• Mid-Atlantic Masters charges racers after the event. The price shown when you sign up is the total cost for a race fee and a lift ticket.
• If you have a pass that works at West, tell us at race-day registration so we can deduct the lift ticket cost when billing you.
• We charge a $20 DNS fee for racers who register and do not show up. If you have a valid excuse such as illness or injury, let us know — we waive it case by case.

Administrative Details

• USSS license: required, either a full Masters license or a single-day short term license.
  • We can provide complimentary short-term licenses to new racers interested in participating at West. Email [email protected] to request your free one-day license.
• Mid-Atlantic membership: not required. Anyone is eligible to race with us whether or not you buy a membership. Only members are included in seasonal scoring.
• Race bibs: if you plan to race with us more than once, buy a Mid-Atlantic bib while signing up for this race. We are eliminating loaner bibs and asking everyone to purchase their own for $26. Your bib works for all current and future Mid-Atlantic races — plus you will look super cool. Purchase a bib.

Race Awards

• Individual: Mid-Atlantic races are scored by age and gender, and we award medals to the three fastest racers in each five-year age class.
• National Speed Series: this race is part of the USSS National Speed Series, 25 super-G and downhill events held across the country through the season. The top three racers overall in each age class earn custom belt buckles at the end of the season.
