What happens if I fall in GS or SG?
In GS and SG, if a competitor comes to a complete stop for any reason, that competitor must no longer continue through previous or further gates. Hiking back to a missed gate is not permitted.
What happens if I fall in SL?
If you fall in SL and come to a complete stop in the course, you can continue racing as long as you do not interfere with the run of the next competitor or have not been passed by the next competitor. If you will be overtaken by the next competitor, you must exit the race course. If you lose a ski in your fall and are more than 2 gates from the finish, you cannot continue racing.
